About David Sartof…
David is a writer of both prose and screen fiction in the thriller genre. He has featured a number of times on BBC Radio York, talking about his work and reviewing the weekend papers.
He is the author of River of Judgement, a financial crime thriller published in March 2010. It is available through this site, or on order from all good book shops. Recently, David has adapted River of Judgement for the big screen. His screenplay Dirty Business is now available for review by interested parties.
With a growing interest in visual story telling, David has also based his feature-length screenplay Dark Conscience, a psychological thriller, on his succesful short story, Gloria.
David’s current projects include the screenplay Blood Tango, a period thriller set in Peronist Buenos Aires in 1953, and a sequel to his novel River of Judgement.
As well as writing, David is an ex-military officer, meatball entrepreneur and likes to play Gilmour solos on his electric ukulele.
